GRP Industries was founded in 1989 by my father, Sudesh K. Aggarwal. His insight into the growth of the United Arab Emirates and the vision to start a manufacturing company led him to form GRP Industries. At a time when trading companies were common, GRP Industries set out to locally manufacture polyester products for application in the local water and electricity infrastructure. The path to success had many hurdles and the GRP team had to lobby and educate local water and electricity authorities on the advantages and cost effectiveness of polyester products.

Today, the company is the leading manufacturer of polyester enclosures and kiosks in the Arabian Gulf, and has seen a growth of 20 per cent each year since 2003. We also have imminent plans for increased production facilities and new sales centers across other developing countries in the Gulf region.

Additionally, GRP Industries prides itself on its ability to innovate and keep step with the booming development taking place in the Middle East. We stay abreast and avail of the latest, most cutting-edge engineering and technological know-how to produce the best quality, most cost-effective products for our esteemed clients, which include DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) and Emaar (real estate developer).
