Polyshades for Instruments

GRP Industries’ polyshades for instruments are designed to shield instruments from the sun and provide protection from rain, snow, dust accumulation and falling objects.  Our polyshades are most commonly installed on oil rigs and along pipelines to protect temperature and pressure instruments.

Polyshades are manufactured with UV stabilized gelcoat, thermosetting polyester resins (amine free) and ‘E’ grade powder bond glass fiber mat.  The high quality of these materials provide thermal insulation, non-absorption of hydrocarbons and suitability to the climate conditions of high temperature and humidity that prevail in the Middle East.
