We live in a digital world; one that is filled with websites, apps and social media. A world where corporations and people are experienced and judged by their online face (who has the time to visit and meet anymore?). Knowing this, we were aware that our old website actually misrepresented our great company, our culture, history and our vast product range. At times, websites are designed to give a shiny polish to a beat-up old car. We had the opposite dilemma - a pearl in a old shell. In 2015, we decided to start from scratch and began the website project from the ground-up. “Scrap the old website!” - no images, no content…nothing. With a blank page, what do we want to achieve?
First - the look and feel must represent GRP Industries as the market leaders that we work so hard to achieve.
Second - Must provide comprehensive information. After all, we have been the experts for 28 years and we have a wealth of information that we want to make readily available to our customers and interested followers.
Third - Must excel in functionality and user interface. Equipped with the latest designing software; the website must be responsive (adaptive to any device our visitor prefers to consume content), connect our social media platforms, be the portal for the visitor to connect back to us (in the right context), have a flow and connectivity in the content that is natural for the visitor when seeking information, and be upgradeable in a moment with the latest news and details.
Fourth - Display the products in a manner that screams how proud we are to call them ours. After all, we are a Manufacturer and our products are our offspring. These 4 pillars were our destination. Along the long road of 18 months (many, many countless hours included); we grew our marketing team and battled tireless together for greatness (“Proud of you team!”).
The day has come. If you are reading this, thank you for visiting us on the new
grpindustries.com. In addition to whats mentioned above, it has a “wow” feature
with 3D views of our products (a first for our industry), insight into the advantages
of composites and how they are manufactured, easy to understand breakdowns of
all the quality certifications that consultants ask for….and so much more.
It truly is the best portal an industrial composites manufacturer has ever put on
the web. (and it’s only going to get better)
