The Extension of Tripoli Road & Improvement of Algeria Road has started in Dubai. The project includes widening of Tripoli Road over 6.5 kilometers stretch from the intersection with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (near Mirdif City Centre) up to the Academic City Road. It also includes the construction of a new 5.3 kilometers road of three lanes in each direction from the intersection of Academic City up to the Emirates Road.
The contract for the improvement of Tripoli road in a 12 kilometers stretch is to provide a link between the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and the Emirates Road and a parallel and supporting corridor to the Airport Road Improvement Project. GRP Industries will be working for Aurecon who has been awarded this project by RTA to provide GRP Kiosks. We are looking forward to the successful completion of this project which will be another feather in the cap for RTA.
